  1. Wonky adapter

    • Pros: When it works it's easy
    • Cons: Doesn't work all that often

    I first installed this to get wireless internet on my legacy Win 98 machine, when I got a new PC. I've had problems with it throughout - but thought most were due to the old machine, and poor recpetion.

  2. Very poor product

    • Pros: Cheap
    • Cons: Large adaptor, very bad reception

    Yes it is cheap and very easy to install, but the dongle is huge (definately dont use for a laptop - it sticks out way too far) but most importantly, the reception is shocking. I have now got rid of mine and had to splash out on another one. So the cheap initial price was a false economy! Dont get it. Read Full Review »

  3. Waste of money and time

    • Pros: cheap
    • Cons: adapter can't get lock, softw reduced laptop speed to near zero

    It was a cheap buy so I bought it for my neighbour. Software installing took some time and warnings about computer problems but it seemed to install properly. However the thing couldn't lock to any network nearby. New software update didn't help. Changing the settings of my router (advice from Belkin service support) didn't do anything either.   4. Crashes My PC

    • Pros: Pretty standard USB wireless adapter
    • Cons: Crashes my PC

    Got to say the same as pretty much everyone else. This wireless adapter is pretty standard to install, but if it gets overloaded, such as using peer-to-peer or voice over IP, it crashes my windows box. I'm not a happy consumer. Read Full Review »

  5. The worst of the worst!

    • Pros: It didnt cost me too much money
    • Cons: It wont connect

    Avoid this product. I am quite ocmputer literate and have a few computers connected up with wireless cards. The others have worked fine, but this just will not connect. I dont think it is faulty, its justa very poorly produced product. Spend a few quid more to avoid buying a dudd. Cheers. Read Full Review »
