      Review summary: If you're in the market for an affordable photo scanner with the ability to capture accurate color and detail, along with the occasional slide or film scan, the HP Scanjet G3110 is worth considering.

      Pros: Built-in transparency adapter; very good overall image quality

      Cons: Slow scan speeds

      HP Scanjet G3110 Photo Scanner

      Review summary: The HP Scanjet G3110 Photo Scanner is fine for scanning photo prints, but scanning is slow, especially with strips of film and slides.

      Pros: Does a reasonably good job with photographic prints. Convenience scanning for slides and strips of film.

      Cons: Slow. Customizing settings is cumbersome.

      Verdict: The HP Scanjet G3110 Photo Scanner combines a capable, if slow low-cost scanner for photographic prints with additional features suitable for occasional use.
