      Review summary: The Epson GT-2500 is great if you need a combination of high-quality photo scans along with scans of regular text documents, but it may be overkill for normal business use.

      Pros: Produces high quality, high-resolution scans ; sheet feeder works very well ; large flat bed adds scanning flexibility

      Cons: Presets can't be given descriptive name ; software doesn't cater to general business audience ; large for a desktop scanner ; scanning is slow

      Verdict: To use the GT-2500 , you put as many as 50 pages in the top-fed document feeder, launch the Epson Scan software on your Mac (there's also a green Start button on the scanner that will launch Epson Scan for you), set your preferences in the application ...
