      Review summary: The HP Photosmart A716's photo quality isn't as good as some of the other portable photo printers we've tested. But it has a multitude of nice features.

      Pros: Built-in 4GB hard drive ; can print 5-by-7-inch photos as well as panoramic prints ; prints borderless photos ; lets you view a slide show on TV with included cable ; has a hard drive to store photos

      Cons: Prints are undersaturated ; relatively slow print speeds

      Sony Picture Station DPP-FP55 Review

      Review summary: Light, small, and inexpensive, but its correspondingly small screen and controls sometimes make it difficult to operate.

      Pros: Very compact ; Quick printing

      Cons: Hard-to-read, small screen ; Perforated print edges

      Verdict: The FP55 uses paper with perforated tabs to help it feed accurately. You tear off the tabs at each end once you've printed your photo, leaving slightly rough perforated edges
