      Polaroid PoGo

      By Gordon Mah Ung

Review summary: If you still get warm and fuzzy thinking about those James Garner and Mariette Hartley Polaroid commercials, it's time to let go of the past. Traditional film is barely hanging on, and Polaroid has completely ceased production of instant film. But ...

Pros: Fun and truly mobile printer that you can actually take with you

Cons: Power brick is huge ; battery life must be improved

Verdict: Fun yet flawed, the PoGo tries to recapture the fun of a Polaroid

      Polaroid PoGo

      Pros: Portable, decent printing

      Cons: Expensive

      Polaroid Pogo: Pogo

      By Melissa J. Perenson

Review summary: The camera world may have gone digital, but the name Polaroid remains synonymous with instant photo prints. So it's not surprising that Polaroid has introduced the $150 PoGo portable printer.

Cons: Power adapter is nearly the size of the printer

Verdict: In the end, the PoGo's appeal lies in its mobility and its near-instantaneous picture production. The $150 price is steep for what amounts to a one-trick gimmick printer. But that doesn't detract from the silly fun people can have by printing pictures ...

Polaroid PoGo instant mobile printer Review

Review summary: I'd also like to see a larger version made available. I know the portability will be somewhat compromised but I would much rather have 6x4" prints

      Polaroid PoGo Portable Printer

      By Daniel Dumas

Review summary: Remember that song, "Hey Ya!" by OutKast? Good song, but overplayed to the point where everyone from your Grandma to your 4-year-old niece was shaking it "like a Polaroid picture."

Pros: It'll take you longer to actually line up, compose, and shoot a decent photo than it will to transfer that same photo to the Pogo. Thermal ZINK photo paper is a hoot to use. Adhesive back is ingenious.

Cons: Colors are washed out. Wouldn't it be awesome, I mean really awesome, if you had to shake the heat-sensitive paper once or twice to make it develop?
