      Verdict: Oki's B6500n is a decent, high-volume printer hobbled by some user-unfriendly features. Otherwise, though, it's comparable to like-priced models we've tested.

      OKI B6500N

      Pros: Very fast print speed, 1.7 cents cost per printed page, 700-sheet paper tray built-in

      Cons: Duplex unit isn't built-in, doesn't have a USB port, would benefit from a number pad

      Verdict: Although the initial outlay is slightly high for a monochrome printer, the B6500N is very fast and easy to maintain, making it a good choice for a busy workplace.
