Lexmark Z1420
By Nessan Cleary
Review summary: One of the neatest features on Lexmark's Z1420 is that it comes with 802.11g and 802.11b compatible wireless built in. This is handy for the growing number of people who prefer to work purely from a laptop. Not having to plug it into a single computer ...
Pros: Wireless networking, stylish Mac-friendly casing, decent print quality
Cons: Quite slow printing speed, flimsy construction, software is basic and isn't designed for the Mac
Verdict: Even though both the CDs are labelled as being for Windows PCs, we were able to load drivers using these CDs on a Mac, which gave us access to basic maintenance tasks such as nozzle cleaning.

Pros: Uncomplicated setup, Good print quality and speed
Cons: No ad-hoc connectivity, Flimsy paper tray
Verdict: Works quickly and works well, but there are some annoyances

Lexmark Z1420 Wi-Fi Enabled Inkjet Printer
Review summary: A printer for under 50 with built in Wi-Fi - is it too good to be true
Verdict: There's no doubt it can be useful to have a printer which doesn't need to be connected to a PC via a USB cable. If you already have a wireless network in your home or office, or if you're contemplating getting one later on, the Z1420 is an inexpensive ...

Lexmark Z1420
By Neill Edgar (13/09/2007)
- Pros: cheap enough
- Cons: usual lexmark quality
this is a usable printer to a point, and the point is that it is the same old poor quality lexmark printer but without cables!
If you want an average print quality with an average print speed this item is for you, otherwise i would advise waiting for the high quality companies to show their hand, by xmas i would expect, the competition will have there higher quality machines on offer, and this will...
