      HP LaserJet 2600n: Inexpensive color laser cuts PostScript emulation and RAM

      Review summary: The LaserJet HP2600n's price is hard to beat, but picky printer shoppers might want to spend a little more for a printer with better image quality.

      Pros: Great price ; increased paper capacity ; good quality text and graphics printing

      Cons: No PostScript emulation ; minimum of built-in RAM ; photo prints looked undersaturated ; grayscale prints had a green cast

      Cons: Prints text slowly ; expensive toner ; mediocre color-graphics quality ; USB cable not included

      Verdict: This HP is affordable if you want a simple color laser printer with wired networking, but it's sluggish.
