    Dated

Epson Stylus Photo R200 By tony cabell (21/12/2006)
    • Pros: cheap inks
    • Cons: Resetting: not possible

This was a fairly good workhorse for 3yrs of average printing. Then the flashing lights said it needed maintenance.I did this myself as it was 3yrs old but could not reset flashing lights and apparently this model cannot be reset according to online help sites. Also print head will be next thing to go and this is not cheap and needs a call-out.So hello to a new printer with cartridges that have pri... Warrenty done, Printer Dies

Epson Stylus Photo R200 By Anonymous (15/01/2006)
    • Pros: none
    • Cons: slow, hates thick paper, dies in one year.

I've owned many epson printers and they lasted much longer than this particular printer did. I am an artist so put quite a bit of demand on my printers. This one was slow and after 6 months could not swallow thick paper. I had to cox it along. The manafactures warrenty for one year was just to clean the machine not really fix it. I hadn't even run out of my warrenty at the time when i... Read Full Review »

    epson r200

    Epson Stylus Photo R200 By jetyi83 (19/03/2004)
    • Pros: print on dvd's, great quality pictures. Seperate ink cartridges so its cheaper to replace
    • Cons: discontinued the extra black ink cartridge so it runs out quicker, the rollers sometimes grab the 4x6 sized photopaper a little slanted, making the borderless picture come out uneven

This printer is cheap!(99$), i bought an hp printer from costco for 170 dollars and thought i got a pretty good deal on it. When i found out that the print quality was only 4800 dpi compared to this printer's 5760 dpi, i returned it the next day. The only thing the epson r200 is lacking is the lcd preview monitor, and memory card reader. That could be handy to most people but i dont see myself nee... Read Full Review »
