Review : Canon Pixma mini 260

      By paul_smart

Review summary: This is not a SELPHY but a Pixma but it only prints 15x10cm images. It looks rather like a projector or a fan heater of a few years ago ? rather than a printer, however the images it produces are good.

Verdict: There are six button a toggle '+' & '-' button as well as the ubiquitous joystick and surround that actually has nine positions including the central button. The top is dominated by what looks like a 6x4cm display but even when in full screen display ...

      Canon PIXMA mini260 (4mice)

      By Brian Chen

Review summary: The Canon Pixma mini260 produced the best four-by-six borderless photos of all the portable printers we tested. Though it lacks a few desirable features, this straightforward printer does its job well.

      Pros: Produces high-quality, attractive prints

Cons: Faint scratches on prints ; no black-and-white option ; no built-in xD picture card support

Verdict: The mini260 prints best on several different types of Canon photo paper including matte, glossy, and pro varieties. Canon offers a $28 package that includes 100 sheets of its glossy 4-by-6 photo paper and a three-color cartridge, for a cost per print ...

      Canon PIXMA Mini 260

Review summary: Wrapped in its smooth and shiny white plastic shell, Canon's new PIXMA mini 260 looks very much like a postcard printer for the iPod generation.

      Pros: Attractive deisgn

Cons: Slightly high cost per print

Verdict: An excellent photo printer, even if the attractive price isn't taken into account
