Samsung X460 - Black Beauty
By Vijay Anand
Review summary: The Samsung X460 is a black beauty that pretty much 'floats' lightly in your hands while delivering good performance. This is no ultra low voltage machine despite its 1.84kg weight - it's a full sized 14-inch notebook with a Core 2 Duo processor that ...
Verdict: Of course, we were quite early in judging the notebook, but in this case, we aren't quite far off the mark as the notebook came clad halfway in gloss. By halfway, we mean just that. Like the Dell Adamo, the top half of the Samsung X460's exterior is ...

Samsung NP-X460
By Roger Hibbert

Cons: Price: This is a great deal in a $900 machine. $1,600? Not so much. Lack of Blu-ray is puzzling, especially considering the HDMI-out.

Samsung X460-44P: X460-44P
By Darren Gladstone
Review summary: Welcome back, Samsung. You've been laying low in the U.S. market when it comes to notebooks, but after kicking the tires on the X460, I can honestly say you were missed. I mean, you manage to craft a 14.1-inch thin-and-light all-purpose notebook that ...
Pros: Many great features in a slim package Bright, easily-viewable screen
Cons: Could've used a better discrete GPU
Verdict: I'm pretty impressed with the Samsung X460. Oh, sure, I have a couple quibbles about choices like the discrete but low-end GPU (obviously a cost-cutting measure), but that doesn't stop me from recommending this machine. It's a little outside the range ...
