      Lenovo ThinkPad W700

      By Dan Havlik

Review summary: Lenovo tries to attract Apple users with this fully stuffed mobile photography workstation.

Verdict: In my positive review of the 8-core MacPro computer workstation back in July, I declared, "The days of the big powerful desktop machines may be on the wane." While that could have been overstating it a bit (hey, I'm a columnist; I'm entitled to an ...

      Lenovo ThinkPad W700 Review

      By John R. Delaney

Review summary: This high-end mobile workstation offers incredible 3D performance, a built-in digitizer, and a dazzling high-res display.

Pros: Outstanding 3D performance, Built-in Wacom digitizer, Beautiful display with color calibration

      Cons: Expensive, Bulky power brick

Verdict: For users who require a consistent and reliable degree of color accuracy, the W700 contains a built-in color-calibration device. Using a small sensor embedded in the keyboard deck and Pantone's huey Pro color-control software, the device scans the ...

      Lenovo ThinkPad W700

      By Christopher Null

Review summary: Six iPhones. Two high-def Sony camcorders. The Sony X505 laptop.

Pros: Digitizer and color calibrator set a new bar for features in a notebook. Top notch performance all around. Unbeatable screen brightness at this size.

Cons: Seems bigger than it needs to be: Lid is 20 inches diagonally to fit a 17 inch screen. 87 minutes of battery life is 84 more than the W700 will ever spend on and unplugged. DVD playback stuttered and ultimately crashed the system during our tests. ...
