      Cons: Decent design, Slight torsions of the case are possible, Disadvantageous placement of interfaces, Low brightness and illumination of the display

      Verdict: Battery runtime is not really an important property of a desktop replacement notebook. However, the HP Compaq nw9440 is with a minimum of 1.5 hours and a maximum of 3.5 not so bad in it

      Review summary: If the 15.4-inch nw8440 mobile workstation - which was the top-rated model in our group test of laptops in Digit 101 - is too small for you, HP has released this 17-inch version.

      Pros: Relatively small size and low weight. Very powerful.

      Cons: Graphics chip not as poweful as Dell Precision M90's.

      Verdict: The nw9440 is the best mobile workstation so far, being both very powerful and truly mobile
