      Review summary: If you liked the idea of the Dell XPS Gen 2 but couldn't afford it, this machine from Fujitsu-Siemens could be right up your street.

      Verdict: Compared to other 17in gaming notebooks, the Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M3438G looks very tempting. It may not be as fast or look as cool as the Dell XPS Gen 2, but it is well built and the price makes it a bit of a bargain.

      Review summary: With its high-end components in tow, the Fujitsu stormed our gaming benchmarks. Its 3DMark, Quake 3 and Serious Sam scores were the highest here by big margins and the machine is a speedy app number cruncher.

      Verdict: FSC's Amilo M3438G proves that great features and cracking performance don't always come at insanely high prices points. A stunner in almost every way.
