      Review summary: The Dell XPS M1730 is a monster of a laptop that can be a perfect replacement to a gaming desktop.

      Pros: Intel Core 2 Extreme X9000 (2.8 GHz), 4GB RAM, 8800 GTX Sli (1GB), 200GB HDD, Sharp Screen (1920 x 1200 pixels), BIOS OC 2.8 - 3.4GHz.

      Cons: Heavy, No HDMI, Poor battery performance.

      Verdict: The Dell XPS M1730 sells for Rs. 1,70,000 but is quite a buy. However, that's excluding taxes and with taxes differing in every state, it's best I don't make a statement about that. This is a laptop that works like a desktop and can be a perfect ...

      Pros: Intel Extreme processor. Best mobile nVidia graphics to date. 4GB RAM. Excellent LED accents with customizable themes and colors. SLI configuration. Dedicated Ageia PhysX card.

      Cons: Very pricey. Way too bulky.

      Verdict: The Dell XPS M1730 (Penryn) may demolish all of our 3D benchmark tests, but it's a little too one-dimensional to recommend for anything other than gaming.
