      Dell Inspiron Mini 9 review

      By Al Warmington

      Review summary: So nearly perfect...

Pros: Solid build and feel; Good looking; Quality mouse track pad; Silent operation

      Cons: Unfriendly keyboard layout; Bloatware

      Dell Inspiron Mini 9

      By Daniel Shain

Review summary: A small form factor but kicking price for this netbook offering from Dell is a nice option to consider

      Pros: Lightweight, Small Form, Inexpensive

Cons: Smaller Keyboard, Runs Warmer than Expected, Lower Storage Capacity

Review summary: Dell Inspiron Mini 9 Price £299 Manufacturer Dell DELL'S INSPIRON MINI 9 is at the smaller end of the mini laptop or netbook spectrum, roughly the same size and weight as the Asus Eee PC 900 and smaller than HP's rival 2133 Mini-Note PC. It is a ...

Pros: Nice, cheap, light PC in Linux or XP flavour

      Cons: What's not to like

Verdict: Coming from Dell, this model is likely to attract more interest from business buyers, and exhibits a better build quality than some mini laptops we have seen. It has a clean design and, at just over a kilogram, is light enough to carry around

      Dell Inspiron Mini 9

      By Elias Plastiras

Review summary: WHILE the size and weight of this netbook is great, its very hard to type on due to the key layout.

Pros: Silent operation, very small and light, solid-state drive

Cons: Apostrophe key is in the wrong place, uncomfortable to type on, tends to get warm, screen has poor vertical viewing angle

Verdict: While we love the size and weight of this netbook, its keyboard is very hard to type on due to the non-standard key layout.
