      Dell Dimension 3100

      By Nick Ross

Review summary: Whisper quiet, well built and well designed, but a lack of power and expandability will keep enthusiasts away.

Verdict: Not only is there no graphics card, but there's no motherboard connector for a graphics card. The proprietary Dell motherboard has only two PCI slots and a 1x PCI-Express slot. A modem sits in one of the former. The major design flaw is that the ...

I wanted a Laptop that was easy to use and also value for money. When I saw the Dell Inspiron 1300, I was smitten with it when I was shown a demonstration.
It had loads of software included in the price.

The main thing was you could adjust the touch pad to your required touch!!

It is suprisingly easy to use and it is perfect to surf the net as it is fast. I also had the Wireless Card included in... Read Full Review »

    • Pros: Excellent: Battery, Price, Delivery and Wifi
    • Cons: 3kg

I finally decided on this laptop after some research - I originally wanted a faster refurbished PC but realising the problems this could cause with overheating I opted for the Dell Pentium M 1.8Ghz.
