Cons: Wishing for a slightly larger LCD ; Could use better speakers ; Battery life could be improved ; Gets warmer than anticipated ; Wishing for a slightly larger LCD ; Could use better speakers ; Battery life could be improved ; Gets warmer than anticipated

Verdict: The case for the EeePC is...small. Yes, ok, we know its small but it's interesting to note that it doesn't flex, it has a solid feel to it. Again, thats next to the T42 14.1 notebook its very small. The actual dimensions for the unit are 8.86" x 6.30" ...

      ASUS EeePC 701

      By Craig Simms, CNET.com.au

Review summary: The EeePC isn't for everyone - in fact within about two seconds from picking it up you'll know if it's for you or not. For those it does appeal to, it's a brilliant little thing that fills a much lamented gap.

Pros: Super light, Attractive, Sturdy, Well featured, Great for first time users

Cons: Keyboard is a bit too small for adult fingers, Inbuilt microphone is insanely placed, Needs a configurable scrolling area on the touchpad, Touchpad isn't very responsive to tap-clicking

      Asus Eee PC 4G

      By Christopher Null

Review summary: At two pounds flat, the Asus Eee PC is the smallest ultra-cheap PC on the market, yet it's arguably the most capable of the bunch. Design-wise, the Eee draws on Asus's long history of notebook design: It's altogether a solid and streamlined machine. ...

Pros: The first netbook you won't be embarrassed to buy, and for a mere $400. Available in multiple colors. Serious hackers can go nuts and add extra apps and even install Windows or other Linux distributions. 4GB solid-state drive means no crashes when you ...

Cons: Two hours and 20 minutes of battery life disappoints considering the slimmed-down specs. Only 1.3GB free storage space available straight out of the box. Stiff (and tiny) mouse buttons.
