Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch (June 2009)
By Dan Ackerman
Review summary: Apple's 15-inch MacBook Pro makes only minor tweaks to the previous version, but cutting prices and swapping the ExpressCard slot for an SD card slot are enough to make it a solid improvement over its predecessor.
Pros: Price cut from previous version, New SD card slot, Keeps the same solid unibody construction and oversize trackpad
Cons: Loses the ExpressCard slot, Switching GPUs not as seamless as it should be

Apple MacBook Pro 15
By Prasad Naik
Review summary: An impressive machine best suited for graphics and video professionals
Pros: Design, build & finish, performance, display, multi-touch trackpad, battery life
Cons: Expensive, no media card reader, only two USB ports, no Blu-ray support, heating issues
Verdict: Better Read a User Experience Review about the complaints people are having before shredding a large amount of money on any model or brand of Laptop because problems start showing up in the 6 to 12 months by that time the warranty would be over and ...

Apple MacBook Pro 17"

- Pros: Sturdy, quick, great keyboard
- Cons: CD drive can be a hassle
I have been using this original model MacBook since July last year and it is brilliant, very fast for anything not requiring video speed (I wouldn't recommend it for gaming if that's your bag) I've been mixing 48 channels of 24 bit audio on it and it's super stable. The casing is very strong, the keyboard is great, screen very high res and bright. The person posting above saying th...

Apple MacBook Pro 17"
By Anonymous (01/12/2006)
- Pros: Fast simple and does not crash.
- Cons: The MS products still crash
If you are moving from a PC, this is a great product. Mac is simple to use and you don't get lots of different levels of menus, it just works.
Word of warning if you want to move you MS emails from outlook, you will not be able to do it easily, talk to your supplier before you make up your mind.
