      Apple MacBook (white, 2.16GHz)

      By Rory Reid

Review summary: The MacBook has been given a refresh and it's now cheaper and faster than ever. There's a quicker 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 1GB of RAM and a bigger hard drive to look forward to, all inside the same gorgeous chassis

Pros: Design ; price ; keyboard

Cons: Cutting-edge features are absent, including Intel's new Santa Rosa platform and LED-backlit displays

      Apple MacBook Laptop Review

      By Erin Kandel

Pros: Great design ; bright screen ; good components for the price ; can run Windows XP ; excellent application performance ; sweet software bundle

Cons: Lacks dedicated media-control buttons ; no ExpressCard slot or flash-card reader ; only 90 days of toll-free technical support

Verdict: If you're in market for travel-friendly laptop with excellent performance, a nice price, and a high dose of class, the MacBook has all three.
