Apple MacBook White
By Jason Saundalkar
Review summary: The MacBook White is the least expensive notebook in Apple's portable range and this fits with its positioning as an enticing proposition for students
Verdict: In terms of battery life the White proved quite a resilient machine. Using the notebook with its WiFi adapter enabled and working on office documents, the machine stayed alive for four hours and 20 minutes. Whilst watching a DivX movie however, the ...

MacBook 2.13GHz
By Stephen Dean
Review summary: An uninspired update. But while the price is fractionally higher, you do get a better entry-level Mac than the last one.
Verdict: Mac-haters will no doubt point out that there are cheaper Windows laptops available - not to mention countless Windows netbooks - but that's missing the point. Apple's intention with the MacBook is to offer a laptop powerful enough to handle a spot of ...

MacBook 2.13GHz
By Kenny Hemphill
Review summary: It was something of a surprise when, earlier this month, Apple chose to abandon its relatively new aluminium MacBook range, leaving only this white MacBook alongside the MacBook Pro and Air ranges. When the white model was left in the range alongside ...
Verdict: If you don't need or value the niceties, or environmental friendliness, of the aluminium unibody MacBooks, this model is a much better deal than either of them

Review summary: A new design and a fantastic new graphics chip, but this latest offering is as flawed and overpriced as ever.

Apple MacBook 13"
By RONALD HEWEY (04/10/2008)
- Pros: Intuitive, Fast, Good Looks, Everything is easy, No junk Software
- Cons: Learning to work the mac way
I bought my MacBook, 2.4 GHz Core Duo, 2GB Ram, and I haven't looked back since. I've found, buying office for mac was the easiest thing to do, as I know it.
I love it - learning to work the mac way was strange at first, but I've got used to it.
There should be more software for Mac, but then the more there is the more junk you end up with, and the more problems you have. A PC, a M...

By Anonymous (27/04/2008)
- Pros: size, quality ease of set up and use, styling, usability - everything
- Cons: can't get it off my wife!!!
I brought an new design imac a few months back because my pc needed changing and i was blown away by the quality, performance and how easy to use it was, so when i was in the market for a new laptop, a macbook seemed the obvious choice.
Wow, what i fantastic bit of kit, i brought the 2.4ghz model and i love it.
My PC days are well and truly behind me - it's mac all the way for me now

Apple MacBook 13"
By Brian Burchell (27/03/2008)
- Pros: quality, quick, smart, light, long lasting, intuitive, impressive,
- Cons: change, printer drivers, software availability not so extensive
After more than 27 years playing and working with IBM Compat / MS products decided to try Apple for a change. Used my inheritance to purchase an Apple MacBook 13" screen 1MB RAM 2GHz Intel core 2 duo processor 80 GB Hard drive with OS 10.4 Tiger. It was different to what I am used to. A couple of gripes - my 2 printers were not compatible with this system - I bought an Epson DX 8400 for £50 -...
