The long wait is over
Review summary: We finally get our hands on a shiny new Macbook and come away suitably impressed with its design and performance.
Pros: Excellent new design ; multitasking is not a problem ; decent battery life ; big trackpad with touch-gesture support ;
Cons: Lacks VGA and DVI-out port ; screen is too glossy for outdoor use ;
Verdict: Nevertheless, the new Macbook is worth considering as it manages to strike the right balance between power, looks and portability.

Cons: A tad expensive.
Verdict: If you are willing to overlook its high price, Apple's new MacBook is an awesome notebook purchase. It's stylish, quick and very easy to work with.

Apple MacBook 13"
By RONALD HEWEY (04/10/2008)
- Pros: Intuitive, Fast, Good Looks, Everything is easy, No junk Software
- Cons: Learning to work the mac way
I bought my MacBook, 2.4 GHz Core Duo, 2GB Ram, and I haven't looked back since. I've found, buying office for mac was the easiest thing to do, as I know it.
I love it - learning to work the mac way was strange at first, but I've got used to it.
There should be more software for Mac, but then the more there is the more junk you end up with, and the more problems you have. A PC, a M...

- Cons: can't get it off my wife!!!
I brought an new design imac a few months back because my pc needed changing and i was blown away by the quality, performance and how easy to use it was, so when i was in the market for a new laptop, a macbook seemed the obvious choice.
Wow, what i fantastic bit of kit, i brought the 2.4ghz model and i love it.
My PC days are well and truly behind me - it's mac all the way for me now

Apple MacBook 13"
By Brian Burchell (27/03/2008)
- Pros: quality, quick, smart, light, long lasting, intuitive, impressive,
- Cons: change, printer drivers, software availability not so extensive
After more than 27 years playing and working with IBM Compat / MS products decided to try Apple for a change. Used my inheritance to purchase an Apple MacBook 13" screen 1MB RAM 2GHz Intel core 2 duo processor 80 GB Hard drive with OS 10.4 Tiger. It was different to what I am used to. A couple of gripes - my 2 printers were not compatible with this system - I bought an Epson DX 8400 for £50 -...
