Acer Aspire 3610

- Pros: ok otherwise
- Cons: hinges too tight
Hinges have tightened over the first year of use, which cracked the back casing just out of warranty. it's costing me £100 to get it replaced by a reputable company. Acer was not interested as it was a few days over the one year warranty. Will not buy Acer again. Beware!

Acer Aspire 3610
By Mike Green (07/11/2007)
- Pros: Nice screen, reasonably quick for most tasks and value for money
- Cons: very poor battery life
Had the laptop for about 18 months now and no problems to date. It's an old school laptop hence a little on the heavy side to lug around but this is more than compensated for by the great screen and solid build quality. Can't say I've had any problems with a tight set of hinges (rather this than the screen not staying where put) and no cracking around the screen bezel. The battery lif...

Acer Aspire 3610

- Pros: Great media PC
- Cons: Its alittle stubborn turning on
I bought this machine for my college studies and it has served me well in my college work. Naturally since I'm a college student I also use it for media purposes. This computer is great for both but only if you keep the power turned on. If you decide to turn it off prepare for a fight turning it back on because on mine it hangs up when the Acer screen comes up during the turn on sequence
