The games are friendly and generally innoffensive, but nevertheless just as much fun and more than other handhelds. I own a PSP which I barely play in comparison to the DS. Games are widely available, but generally remain at £30 for a long time before being reduced or put on buy 1 get 1 half price offers. That said, most games such as Mario, Animal Crossing, Nintendogs etc give hours of play and often have mini games which are fun to play even when you've completed the title sequence game. The console is really durable but I'd reccommend a carry case and screen covers just to extend the life. Definitely a high quality, excellent value console.
