      Cons: Competition offers more configuration options at better prices ; clunky Dell-branded receiver accessories hurt visual appeal ; icon software targets the wrong aspects of Apple systems

      Pros: HDMI and DisplayPort. 802.11n wireless networking. Minimal crapware.

      Cons: No Blu-ray. Pricier than competition. Only 30-day subscription to McAfee Internet Security. Awkward hard drive expansion.

      Verdict: Wedged between the Inspiron line and the high-end XPS line, the Studio Desktop is a jack of all trades, yet a master of none. You can find less-expensive multimedia desktops that offer you more features.
