Review: Dell Studio Hybrid Desktop home entertainment computer

      By Anthony Dhanendran

Review summary: A computer that won't look out of place in the living room

Pros: Great looks ; Fairly powerful ; Large hard disk ; Quiet

Cons: High price ; No Blu-ray ; No TV tuner

Verdict: It's true that you're paying extra for the looks, but then this computer really won't look out of place in the living room, and might even attract a few admiring glances from guests

Dell Studio Hybrid, the full review

      By Dave Stevenson

Review summary: Small, funky and fast, the studio hybrid is the pick of the small PCs. You've read our first impressions, now see our full review of the Dell Studio Hybrid.

Verdict: The advantage to the faster components is performance: where the Eee Box 202 scored a lowly 0.39 in the PC Authority benchmarks, the Studio Hybrid has more than enough power to run Photoshop with its much more impressive 1.13

      Dell Studio Hybrid PC

      By Melissa Perenson

Review summary: The aesthetically pleasing Dell Studio Hybrid PC has a terrific compact design, but it sacrifices performance for miniaturisation

Verdict: Dell's new Studio Hybrid makes a strong impression with its stylish design, and its price will make you take notice, too. A basic configuration starts at $1249, without monitor; our test configuration, with a 19-inch LCD monitor, will cost around $1699

      Dell Studio Hybrid

      By Elias Plastiras

Review summary: THE Hybrid represents a new wave of small PCs that are small yet functional and quite affordable.

Pros: Small size, good performance, plenty of connectivity features, DVD burner

Cons: No eject button on the unit (nor on the keyboard) for the DVD burner - apart from that, we think it's great

Verdict: The Hybrid represents a new wave of small PCs that are actually small yet functional and quite affordable. If you're after a small PC, we think the Hybrid is the one to go for.
