ASUS Eee Box
Review summary: Despite a few useful features, the ASUS Eee Box is a novelty at best. It can't come close to the performance and robustness of even the most basic standard budget PC, while a low-end notebook can do everything it can do and more.
Pros: Small design may have some aesthetic appeal Integrated Draft-N Wi-Fi Pre-Windows ExpressGate OS lets you browse and do other basics seconds after turning on the power
Cons: Terrible performance and features compared with standard budget desktops, A cheap notebook will offer similar capability, space savings and portability
Verdict: It seems the appeal of the Eee PC doesn't carry over to the Eee Box.

Asus Eee Box PC
Review summary: ASUS has built up a reputation for building inexpensive and small but useful PCs, with its EeePC laptops. The company is expanding the idea of inexpensive and small PCs to desktops with the Eee Box PC ($350 list). The Eee Box is an Intel Atom ...
Pros: Tiny. Quiet. Energy-efficient. "Express Gate" pre-Windows quick-boot mode. Windows XP Home (compatibility, software). Mountable on VESA monitor. Multithreaded processor
Cons: Smallish hard drive. No 3D performance worth speaking of. Low benchmark test numbers. Some apps may be incompatible. 1GB of memory. No CD or DVD drive. It's Windows, so you're vulnerable to Windows malware and viruses
Verdict: The ASUS Eee Box PC is just what it's billed to be: a tiny PC that runs Windows XP and is good for Web surfing and simple tasks.

Asus Eee Box B202 Compact PC
Review summary: Well-designed, ultrasmall desktop serves for basic computing, but don't expect much in the way of performance.
Pros: Clever, compact design ; Low price
Cons: No optical drive ; Lackluster performance
Verdict: With its white, boxy, angular design, the Eee Box recalls Apple's Airport Extreme or Nintendo's Wii. It includes a screw-on stand, as well as a VESA mount for attaching the system to the back of a monitor. And, unlike some ultracompact desktops, the ...
