Apple Power Mac G5 Dual 2.70 Ghz
Review summary: This newest Power Mac G5 doesn't look all that different from previous models
Pros: Fastest Mac yet, Double-layer DVD, Liquid cooling
Cons: Relatively noisy, PowerPC architecture
Verdict: Power Macs need memory adding in pairs, so you'll have to buy a couple of 512MB sticks or two 256MBs. The stock Serial-ATA hard drive jumps from 160GB to 250GB, while the SuperDrive is now rated at 16x and can burn double-layer DVDs

Power Mac G5 Quad
By Yuval Kossovsky
Review summary: Apple's brand-new flagship supercomputer is just that: super. While we average PC users may baulk at the cost and wonder why some of the base specifications are so 2003, regular Power Mac users will be salivating at the prospect.
Verdict: The Power Mac G5 Quad may seem expensive, but it's a bargain considering the additional processor cores. There's no reason for any professional facility not to upgrade because the equipment cost will quickly be recouped in the form of higher ...

- Pros: Dual 2.5 Ghz. Processors, 64 Bit Processors, Up to 8 GIGS OF RAM!
- Cons: None Whatsoever
This computer is literally amazing. I've had mine for about a 1/2 year now and i couldn't have asked for anything nicer. It completes tasks easily and is such a workhorse that i have yet to find something that would bog it down. Although many people think that Apple Macintosh computers are weird, bad, and incompatible to windows, they are quite the contrary. Computers running Mac operating sys...

Apple Power Macintosh G5

- Pros: beautiful and simplistic design, quite powerful yet extremely compact.
- Cons: 2 week wait on shipping time, no variety of colours
Quite simply, a beautiful machine. It's simplistic design goes hand in hand with that of the iPod. It's more than adequately powered for the average computer user, and takes up so little space. It's like a supercomputer for my living room.... where do i sign up?

Apple Power Macintosh G5

- Pros: Design, design, design
- Cons: ? build quality, noisy DVD drive, had a bad internal HD
First, I would like to start by stating that I love my new iMac. I am a long-time (19-year) Macintosh owner, and jumped to purchase this computer because of the processor upgrade and the design. Largely, it has functioned well, but I have already had to replace the internal 250GB hard drive (2 major crashes, bad blocks) under warranty. The drive was a Maxtor drive, so it is hard to blame Apple, as...
