      Apple Computer Mac Mini 1.42GHz

Review summary: The most credit card-friendly Mac ever has what it takes to clear space from your desktop

Pros: Most affordable Mac ever, performs better than expected, wonderfully compact, attractive design.

Cons: Only 256MB RAM, with one FW and two USB 2.0 ports, a hub will likely be required.

      Pros: Affordable, compact, great performance

Cons: lack of few ports makes desktop a bit cluttered - few USB ports, no mic-in, external power supply, no monitor power output, and original peripherals are expensive

Verdict: Specifications wise, the the Mac Mini is quite comparably up to par with the eMac. So it wouldn't be too off track to say that the Mac Mini is essentially an eMac without the monitor, keyboard and mouse
