      Apple iMac G5

      By Ty Pendlebury

Review summary: The iMac has always been a little more about style than function and the latest iteration is testament to this philosophy. The most noticeable thing about the iMac G5 is the massive 20 inch widescreen. It's a Big Mac. Geddit?

Verdict: The iMac also comes with Garage Band which is a plus for budding musicians looking to record their own songs, and the results are easily downloaded into iTunes. Otherwise, the software is a little scarce, no Office applications or the like

      Apple iMac G5

      By Joel Santo Domingo

Pros: Simple, stunning all-in-one design. Quiet. Just one cord (for power), thanks to optional Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Gorgeous 20-inch screen and desktop-caliber hard drive.

Cons: Can't upgrade graphics. Built-in speakers don't deliver much bass.

Verdict: Apple has another design coup on its hands with the iMac G5's clean, simple lookimagine if an iPod grew into a full-size, self-contained PC.

Cons: Too little RAM for default configurations, Positioning of screen not as flexible as on last iMac, Still uses a one-button mouse, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth cost extra
