      Product Reviews: Logitech X-530

      By Jason Saundalkar

Review summary: Moreover, frequency response is excellent, with low bass tones and high treble coming through crisp and clear. To that end, playing tunes, watching movies and blowing away baddies in Doom3 was a joy, which makes the X-530 well worth your time.

Pros: Good frequency response, sleek looks, aggressively priced

Cons: No remote-control, cable lengths are too limiting and cannot be detached either

Verdict: A sound all-rounder if you're after crisp sound quality and strong bass. At $87 they're also well priced.

      Logitech X-530 Review - Desktops

      By Nathaniel Wilkins, CNET.com

Review summary: Logitech's budget 5.1 set is passable, but a high-end 2.1 set that costs only a little more will provide better audio quality.

Pros: Affordable 5.1-channel system, Desk stands double as wall mounts, 1/8-inch headphone jack

Cons: Lacks secondary inputs, Subwoofer not powerful

Verdict: Although it lacks the power and the clarity of some speakers, the X-530 set provides a cheap way to add respectable 5.1-channel surround sound to your computer.
