      Pros: Lifelike flesh-tones ; no banding issues ; good color saturation

      Cons: Changing among color-temperature settings sometimes destroys contrast ; terrible factory defaults

      Viewsonic VX1940w

      Pros: Sharp picture, great response time, 1650x1080 resolution

      Cons: Poor contrast, some colour issues

      Verdict: A solid 19in monitor, the Viewsonic VX1940w performs well in some areas, such as when handling fast motion, but also has a few contrast and colour issues.
