      Review summary: NEC has introduced its own range of true high definition LCD displays. The NEC Multeos M40 and M46 offer sizes of 40 inches (102 cm) and 46 inches (117 cm) respectively in a 16:9 aspect ratio

      Pros: True high definition, excellent signal handling, 1:1 pixel mapping capability, good colour.

      Cons: Large and heavy, no TV tuner.

      Verdict: So long as you can find that Scan Mode setting, this display will give you an excellent high definition picture
