      Dell UltraSharp 2707WFP 27-inch Wide-Screen

      By Rob Williams

Review summary: In the market for a big widescreen monitor, but find 24" too small and 30" too big? Dell has you covered with their 27" 2707WFP. Like their 2407WFP, this monitor offers 1920x1200 with a 6ms GTG and has a brushed aluminum look that's unique to their ...

Pros: One of the best looking monitors on the market, High-resolution with 6ms (GTG), Plenty of connectivity, Handles 720p content well

Cons: Price ($999), Limited swivel, No included speakers

      Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP

      By Kalpana Ettenson (PC World)

Pros: Easily accessible USB and CF slots

Cons: Slightly dark and muted shades in photos

Verdict: With a $2899 price tag, the 3007WFP is certainly not cheap, though it does cost in the same range as other 30-inch LCDs. But if you're looking for a big display on which to spread out a few open windows, then the 3007WFP could be a good investment.

      Dell 3007WFP-HC

      By Jeremy Laird

Review summary: Mediocre contrast, patchy backlighting, dodgy viewing angles and extremely limited input options. That's a pretty rum calling card for a PC monitor priced somewhere north...

Verdict: Something that can't be debated, however, is the 3007WFP-HC's bizarre status as a bargain. Putting aside Dell's online pricing lottery, the £950 sticker it sported at the time of writing makes this the cheapest 30in monitor on the market, and in many ...

      Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP

      By David Bayon

Review summary: Elegant, flexible and well designed, it only just loses out to the HDMI-equipped BenQ this month.

Verdict: The stand is height-adjustable by 100mm as well as tilting and swivelling, and the side bezels are just 20mm wide. No speakers are integrated, although an optional 2 x 5W speaker bar can be added for $79

      Dell 3007WFP

Review summary: Hard to believe it's already over 12 months since Dell wheeled out the first monster 30-inch monitor for the masses. In the intervening period, the 3007WFP's asking price has slowly edged downwards

Pros: Cheap way to get into Blu-ray, Versatile connectivity options, Excellent high-def picture quality, Huge resolution, Excellent response times

Cons: No supplied dedicated remote, Washed-out black tones, Narrow viewing angle, Poor connectivity

Verdict: A monster monitor that's got a lot going for it, although newer models eclipse it somewhat
