  1. I've only ever ordered small things

    I've only ever ordered small things such as CDs, DVDs, games and a graphics card, but out of all these things Amazon have always delivered quickly and it has always arrived in good condition.

    I can't comment on how they deal with larger deliveries though.

    DO NOT USE AMAZON !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    They are fine for books and cd's/dvd's but for anything larger (eg Sony micro-hi fi) they were an unmitigated disaster.

    Despite paying for next day delivery to ensure a saturday delivery the product didn't arrive. I was informed by the "robot" I spoke to at Amazon that they would rearrange delivery via City Link on the following tuesday.

    The guys who say amazon never get things to them on time must be either a) in a shack on the top of a mountain or b) on crack.     I've lost count of the number of times I've ordered from Amazon and always had a top notch service from them. Goods have always been delivered on time, sometimes they have shocked me on just how quick they get the goods to me.

    Pretty much anything I buy, I always check on Amazon if I see it in a shop first because I just know it will be cheaper. It always has been and in my mind always will be cheaper than other stores out there. The delivery is ALWAYS on time with not one delayed item.     I have bought from Amazon more times than I can count, nearly everything I get comes from there as they always seem to be the cheapest - never had any problems whatsoever, items always arrived before their delivery estimate, unless due to a problem beyond their control such as a publisher not publishing a book in time, but then the communication from them has always been excellent!
