      Epson R800 printer review

      Review summary: For those of you that are new to the photo-i site. All the tests are carried out in real time and I check the forum every 30 minutes (whilst I am working on the review). If there is anything you want me to check out, then use the forum and post your quest

      Pros: Excellent photographic print quality, Speed, (same cartridges as the S900, i950 etc.), included as standard, ), , :, The PictBridge port could not be used to transfer images to a computer, Lack of clear instructions on how to get the best quality print

      Epson Stylus Photo R800

      Review summary: With its extra red and blue inks, the R800 produces intense, rich photos; it can also print on CDs and paper rolls.

      Pros: Prints on rolls of photo paper

      Cons: Slow print speeds

      Verdict: If you plan on printing a lot of snapshots, you'll appreciate the R800's roll feeder; and as long as you stick with RGB files, the R800 will reward you with great-looking photo prints.

      Pros: Prints RGB very well

      Cons: CMYK prints are distorted, prints text slowly

      Verdict: If you plan on printing a lot of snapshots, you'll appreciate the R800's roll feeder; and as long as you stick with RGB files, the R800 will reward you with great-looking photo prints.
