  Review summary: This monitor deserves some attention if you are looking for a large, fast and inexpensive screen with HDMI. Compare it to Iiyama models. Its defect is an occasional compatibility bug with NVIDIA cards.

  Verdict: The Acer P243W is an attractive 24-inch LCD monitor that delivers a bright picture. Its handling of small text is among the best I've seen. Still, other performance aspects are not so impressive, and I was disappointed by the lack of multimedia features.
