Pros: High-quality output from 35mm or medium format film, similar to dedicated film scanners. Features Digital ICE defect removal, and an optional fluid mounting bed.
Cons: Large footprint for its class. Slow when quality-enhancing features are used, SilverFast can't access ICE grain reduction and colour restoration separately.
Verdict: The V750 is a useful improvement over the V700, and the difference in price is reasonable considering the value of the bundle. The set-up produces fine results even with 35mm originals, but you have to trade quality against speed
